30th May 2008 Recent maintenance activities have included adjusting the brake on 51941, 59250 and 52064, finding and resolving a problem with the vacuum, which was caused by the collapse of a new vacuum hose. The water pump in the new tank under 59250 has been replaced as the original suffered damage from frost. Replacement of a water pump on No2 engine of 52064, and the un-twisting of a belt to the alternator on the same engine. Internally Derek has now painted the floor of the bar in 59250, this not only improves the overall atmosphere, but also stops the dust from the floor surface. |
